Aerial Technical Requirements
Each piece of aerial equipment (eg. Tissu) must be rigged from a fixed, structural point(s) with an approved weight allowance for a minimum load of 500 kilograms. This point(s) must be rigid i.e. from structural beams in the ceiling or from fixed truss.
A height of 5 to 10 metres is required from the rigging point(s) to performance floor.
The rigging point(s) need to be accessed using a high worker (hogewerker / cherry picker) with operator or an approved technical rigger (provided by the organisation) can be used. A ladder can be used for lower heights.
The aerial equipment (Tissu) must hang free from any aerial obstacles.
Ideally with a minimum of 5m away from any obstacle; aerial or floor.
The exact height and type of hanging point should be approved by the technical representative and performers before the booking is confirmed. Therefore we require direct contact with a technical representative from the organisation who can confirm the above technical requirements.
